The purpose of this corporation shall be fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable and educational; to preserve and strengthen comradeship among its members; to assist worthy comrades; to perpetuate the memory and history of our dead, and to assist their widows and orphans; to maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States of America, and fidelity to its Constitution and laws; to foster true patriotism; to maintain and extend the institutions of American freedom; and to preserve and defend the United States from all her enemies, whomsoever.

If you feel you can meet the above requirements and have served in a foreign war or conflict then we need you. Our organization is loosing members everyday due to death and other illnesses and if we intend to be there to ensure that all veterans get the benefits they deserve then we need to recruit new members everyday. War is a terrible thing and we who have served, no what it is like to come back and have to fight for the benefits that were promised to us. One way we can do this is by becoming members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America and help it to become a strong political voice in America. Our leaders at the National, State, and Local levels are fighting for our rights and addressing our politicians everyday.  But they can’t do it alone. They need our help and they need your help. One way of doing this is by becoming involved and joining our organization. Remember just like in a battle there is strength in numbers. So Please get involved now and join today. If you are not from around our District contact one of the Post in our District and I am sure they will be glad to help you find one in your area, we can probably put you in contact with a Post in Michigan that is closer to your home.

 

 But the most important thing is Join and Join now before you need help and benefits and they are gone.
