All POW Prayers
Dear Heavenly Father,
Hear this fervent prayer, please let our POW's know, as long as one person still believes in this
cause, and walks this earth, they will not be forgotten. Bless our Armed Forces personal that
are fighting terrorism today and the days ahead. God Bless America. In your name we pray.
Amen.
A POW'S Prayer
I took an oath before our flag, to up hold our counties freedom;
I was trained to be a good soldier and to fight the enemy and beat them.
But somehow in the midst of this terrible war the enemy took me away.
Today I am listed as a prisoner of war or missing in action?
Please care for my family for I shall return, to the country that I love,
In body or soul I'll be joining you, or in my heavenly home above.
Amen
Prayer for (MIA/POW) Prisoners
Almighty Father Who suffers in the affliction of your children, we call upon you now from the
depths of our anxiety and great concern for our countrymen and loved ones who have fallen
into the hands of the Nations foes, in the face of the evils that these brave men endure and
before the grim burdens they are forced to bear, give them courage and hope, and a never
failing confidence in You.
But most of all, 0 God, we ask that the day will soon come when we can all celebrate their
release and safe return to their homes and kindred.
Give to all of us who wait and hope in the face of every disappointment the will to persevere in
the cause of peace and the wisdom to conquer hate with love and every doubt with a renewed
Faith in you. Amen.
A POW/MIA Prayer
Dear Father,
I come into the Throne Room of Grace and bring with me every POW/MIA from every war that America has fought.
Father, You established this county under the Blood Covenant. These men have fought to keep it free, have been obedient and have paid a high price for their loyalty to this nation.
They have not come home.
Father, I ask in the name of Jesus, that You bring these Prisoners of War, and the Missing in Action home to the families that love them, and to a country that appreciates them.
Father, please make the path before them
open and free for their return.
Please bless each and every POW/MIA, give them grace and mercy, protect them, give them strength and cover them with the Precious Blood of Jesus. Bless their families,
keep them strong and keep the flame of hope burning within them.
Thank You for bringing each and every Service man, woman and civilian home. To you Father all praise, honor, and glory in Jesus's name.
Amen

Oh God above please hear my plea
I’m here on earth in captivity.
I fought the war the best I could, until my luck ran out
Now, I’m behind barbed wire on the inside looking out.
War is Hell, I just found out much to my dismay
I’m asking for Your blessings and help in every way.
Give us Your strength to guide us through this terrible ordeal
It’s only now we realize that what has happened is for real.
The inhumane brutality which we suffered each and every day
Is slowly wearing us down, into a state of disarray.
How long can our minds and bodies fight this gruesome episode
We are weak, hurt and hungry, with little hope in sight.
Our Country knows that we are here
But, what of the ones who are missing.
We pray, oh God that you look out for them
For their families, friends who pray constantly
Still hoping for a miracle, AMEN.
Closing Prayer

we hold them dear .Heavenly Father, stir and wake our sleeping souls. Renew our faith and lift
us up and give us higher goals. Grant us heavenly guidance as we face the days ahead. God
bless America. Bless each of us as we go our separate ways.
In your name we pray.
Amen
